The Ocean Club is a low-rise, 107-room resort on 35 acres of Paradise Island, opened by Huntington Hartford in 1962 and part of Four Seasons since 2017. It is known for its terraced Versailles-style gardens, a long white-sand beach, and its role in Casino Royale. Booked through a Preferred Partner advisor, a stay adds daily breakfast for two, a $100 hotel credit, upgrade priority and VIP recognition, at the same rate Four Seasons publishes.

The program benefits are the same at every hotel. What changes is what they are worth. This is how each one works at this property.
Full breakfast for two per bedroom at DUNE, the Jean-Georges restaurant above the beach, or through in-room dining. A breakfast-inclusive rate booked direct costs noticeably more per night, so this is the benefit that saves the most over a stay.
One credit per stay to use on dining, the spa or activities. It does not apply to the room rate or taxes. It goes furthest against a lunch by the pool or part of a spa treatment.
A one-category upgrade when available at check-in. From the entry-level Garden-View Room, the next category is the Ocean-View Room in the same wing, which is the group of rooms refreshed in 2026.
Priority for both. Worth having here, because most flights from the US arrive around midday and leave in the afternoon.
A welcome amenity and a VIP note on the reservation. We send the hotel your wing and floor preferences, bed type and any occasion ahead of time.
Preferred Partner benefits apply on top of the hotel's own offers, such as advance-purchase savings and extra-night promotions. We check what is available for your dates when we quote.
The main choice is between two wings. The Hartford Wing is the original 1962 building, set around a palm-lined courtyard close to the spa and the Martini Bar. The Crescent Wing is newer and sits right on the beach, a little further from the centre of the resort. Rooms with two queen beds are scarce in both wings, so ask early if you need them.
24 of these rooms were redone in 2026 with a lighter look, new floors and new bathrooms, and they reopened for stays from October 2026. Ground-floor rooms have terraces that open onto the lawn, which families like. Second-floor rooms are more private.
About 550 sq ft, larger than the Hartford rooms, with a terrace or balcony facing the ocean and bigger bathrooms. This is the room for waking up to the water. The trade-off is a slightly longer walk to the restaurants and gardens.
The entry-level room, the same size as the Hartford ocean-view rooms at around 450 to 475 sq ft. The 2026 refresh covered the ocean-view rooms.
The Hartford Wing Ocean-View Suite is about 975 sq ft with two full bathrooms, and two of them were part of the 2026 refresh. The Crescent Wing Luxury Oceanfront Suite is about 1,100 sq ft and sits on the beach.
A garden-view villa with two main bedrooms and a private courtyard with a plunge pool, close to the kids club. It is usually the most practical family option. In the Hartford Wing, a king room and a two-queen room can also be joined as a lock-off suite.
Three- and four-bedroom villas of roughly 4,400 to 4,800 sq ft on the beach, with private infinity pools, kitchens and dedicated staff. There are only three, and they need booking a long way ahead for winter and holidays.
Tell us whether you care more about being on the sand or being close to the gardens, bar and spa. That decides the wing, and the wing matters more than the category here.
Hartford is the original hotel: courtyard, gardens, bar and spa on the doorstep, with ocean-view rooms that are now the newest on the property. Crescent is the beachfront wing, quieter and further out. Both are good; they suit different stays.
Ocean Club guests have had complimentary access to the Aquaventure water park at Atlantis, about ten minutes away. Go around 10 am, before the cruise-ship crowds, and take your room key and photo ID.
The resort adds a daily resort fee and a per-person destination fee, and the Bahamas charges tax on rooms. Together they add a meaningful amount to the nightly rate. We give you the all-in figure with your quote.
Reserve dinner at DUNE and its Sunday brunch before you arrive, along with spa treatments. Tee times at the Ocean Club Golf Course can be booked up to 60 days ahead. Send us your wish list and we will ask the hotel to arrange it.
The resort closes for a few weeks each year around September, at the peak of hurricane season. In 2026 it reopened for stays from 8 October.
The kids club is complimentary for ages 4 to 12, and the Family Pool has a shallow walk-in entry and a lifeguard. Request connecting rooms or two queen beds as early as you can, because there are few of them.
Evenings are resort smart rather than casual, particularly at DUNE. Bring something a step up from beachwear.
The resort has run a house car for trips around Paradise Island, including Atlantis and the golf course, which removes the need for taxis on the island itself.
Dining centres on DUNE, with more casual options beside the pools and one of the best-known hotel bars in the Caribbean.
The main restaurant, from chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, with French-Asian cooking and Caribbean touches. Breakfast is served here, and the Sunday brunch has a strong reputation in Nassau. Dinner tables go quickly in high season.
Latin American and Caribbean dishes next to the infinity-edge Ocean Pool. It is the relaxed choice for lunch between the pool and the beach, with dinner on selected nights.
Italian dishes served beside the adults-only pool, at the foot of the terraced gardens.
The bar where the poker scene in Casino Royale was filmed. Order the Vesper. An afternoon tea was added here in 2026.
The resort is small and low-rise, so the beach, three pools and gardens never feel busy. Loungers, umbrellas and iced water are set up for you on the beach.
A long stretch of white sand on the north shore of Paradise Island. Paddleboards and snorkelling gear are included, though the snorkelling off the beach is limited. The water is calmest in late spring and summer.
An infinity-edge pool on the bluff above the beach, with Ocean Blu alongside.
A lagoon-style pool with a walk-in entry, a waterfall and a lifeguard, set away from the adults-only pool.
The adults-only pool, for guests 16 and over, at the bottom of the terraced gardens. It was updated in 2026.
Terraced gardens modelled on Versailles climb the hill behind the hotel to a medieval Augustinian cloister brought over from France. Walk up in the early morning or before dinner.
Eight Balinese-style spa villas, each with a private garden. Three Har-Tru tennis courts, two padel courts, pickleball, and the Tom Weiskopf golf course next door, reached by complimentary shuttle.
The Bahamas is warm all year. The choice is between dry, busy winter months and quieter, cheaper periods on either side.
Nassau has frequent direct flights from the US east coast, which makes this one of the easiest Four Seasons beach resorts to reach for a short stay.
Most guests stay close to the resort, but the best days out are on the water. Book boat trips before you arrive in high season.
The water park, aquarium and casino are about ten minutes away. An easy half day, especially with children.
A full-day trip by fast boat or small plane to the Exuma cays for the swimming pigs, nurse sharks and sandbars. It is a long day, around eight hours, and needs booking ahead.
A quiet island 15 to 30 minutes away by boat, good for a half day of snorkelling and a beach lunch.
A small private island a few miles from Paradise Island, known for its dolphin encounters and calm lagoon.
The Tom Weiskopf course at the eastern end of Paradise Island. Worth a visit for lunch at the clubhouse even if you do not play.
