Four Seasons Cabo San Lucas at Cabo del Sol opened in 2024 on the coast road between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo. It is a small resort for the brand, with 96 rooms, casitas and suites, all facing the ocean, built in a modern hacienda style around three pools and a sandy cove. Booked through a Preferred Partner advisor, a stay adds daily breakfast for two, a $100 hotel credit, upgrade priority and VIP recognition, at the same rate Four Seasons publishes.

The program benefits are the same at every hotel. What changes is what they are worth. This is how each one works at this property.
Full breakfast for two per bedroom at Palmerio, or through in-room dining on your terrace. Individual breakfast dishes cost $24 to $32 here, so for two people over a week the saving is substantial.
One credit per stay. Prices at the resort are high, so think of it as one main course and a cocktail at dinner, or about a third of a massage. It will not cover dinner for two.
A one-category upgrade when available at check-in. From the entry La Casona Room, the next step is a casita, which is larger and stands on its own at ground level.
Priority for both. Flights from the US tend to land around midday and leave in the early afternoon, so both help.
A welcome amenity and a VIP note on the reservation. We tell the resort whether you want to be near the family pool or well away from it.
Preferred Partner benefits apply on top of the resort's own promotions. We check what is available for your dates when we quote.
There are no bad views here: every room faces the ocean and has a balcony or terrace. The real choice is between a room in the main hacienda building, La Casona, and a freestanding casita in the grounds, with or without a private plunge pool. Suites and villas sit at the edges of the resort for privacy.
The entry category, on the upper level of the main building, at a generous 847 sq ft with a king bed or two queens. It is the closest room to the lobby, bar and restaurants, and the easiest for anyone who wants to avoid stairs and slopes.
A freestanding casita of roughly 1,170 sq ft, with indoor and outdoor showers and more privacy than the main building. A clear step up in feel for a modest step up in rate.
About 1,765 sq ft including an outdoor living area with a ceiling fan, a private plunge pool with loungers and an outdoor shower. You can spend the whole day here without going to the main pools.
The same casita layouts in the front row, nearest the cove. Worth it for the sound of the sea and for whale watching from the terrace in winter.
One-bedroom suites of roughly 1,800 to 2,000 sq ft with a separate living room. For families, ask us for a casita near the Coraluz family pool.
Two- to seven-bedroom residences, villas and estates joined the rental collection in 2026, from about 4,200 sq ft, most with private pools and some with rooftop pools. They suit two or three families travelling together.
Where your casita sits matters more than its category. Families are happiest near the family pool and beach club. Couples usually prefer the side nearer the adults-only pool. Tell us which and we will request it.
The resort describes its beach as swimmable, which is unusual in Los Cabos. It is a small sandy cove with rocks at either side, and one detailed review recommends it for strong swimmers only. Plan to swim in the pools and treat any calm sea days as a bonus.
Four Seasons has two resorts in Los Cabos. This one is on the main corridor, close to the airport, the towns and restaurants. Costa Palmas is over an hour away on the East Cape, more secluded, with calmer swimming water. Choose this one for convenience and dining, Costa Palmas for seclusion and the sea.
Taxes and service charges in Los Cabos can add close to 30 percent to the room rate. Food and drink are priced at US resort levels, with dinner mains around $40 to $45 and cocktails over $20. We give you the full room total with your quote.
From mid-December to mid-April, humpback whales pass close to shore and can be seen from the resort. January and February are the peak. The resort runs its own whale-watching boat.
Guests play the Cabo del Sol Course, a short cart ride away. Reserve tee times and dinner at Cayao before you arrive in high season.
The resort is built on a slope with steps between levels. If stairs are a concern, we will request a room in La Casona, where the accessible rooms are, or a casita close to the main building.
Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo are each about 20 minutes and around $20 away by taxi. San José's Thursday art walk and a dinner at Flora Farms are the two outings guests enjoy most.
The kids club is complimentary for ages 4 to 12 and runs from 9 am to 5 pm. The family pool has a shallow walk-in entry, and children are given fruit, smoothies and ice lollies through the day. There is an activity centre for teenagers.
For a resort of under 100 rooms, there is a lot of choice. Between the restaurants, the rooftop bar and the pools, you can eat somewhere different each night of a short stay.
The main restaurant, in La Casona, with cooking from the French and Italian Riviera. Breakfast is served here.
An oceanfront Nikkei restaurant from chef Richard Sandoval, open for dinner. The most sought-after table at the resort.
Mexican seafood, ceviche and tostadas beside the family pool and the beach. The natural choice for lunch.
A rooftop bar relaunched in late 2025, with Mexican small plates, a margarita list and music on most evenings.
The lobby bar specialises in tequila and mezcal. Bar Brisal serves ceviche and cocktails at the adults-only pool.
Most guests spend their days at the pools, with the beach, the spa and the golf course close by.
A sandy cove framed by rocks, with loungers and service. Swimming depends on the day's conditions and is best left to confident swimmers.
A large pool beside Coraluz with a shallow walk-in entry, a fountain area for small children and family cabanas.
An infinity pool with loungers set in the water, cabanas and its own bar. Cabanas at both pools can be reserved for a fee.
Ten treatment rooms, including two for couples, with vitality pools, steam and sauna, and a lap pool beside the gym.
The Cabo del Sol Course, designed by Tom Weiskopf and renovated in 2023, is a short cart ride away and open to resort guests.
A complimentary kids club for ages 4 to 12, an adventure centre for teens and an artisan studio with craft classes.
Los Cabos is sunny for most of the year. Winter is the favourite, and late summer is the period to avoid.
The resort is on the Transpeninsular Highway between the two towns of Los Cabos.
The resort's position between the two towns makes it easy to see both sides of Los Cabos.
The rock arch at Land's End, where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez. Boats leave from the Cabo San Lucas marina throughout the day.
From mid-December to mid-April. Go out on the resort's own boat or a small-group tour from the marina.
An organic farm and restaurant outside San José del Cabo. Reserve well ahead, especially for brunch.
Galleries in the old town stay open late on Thursday evenings from November to June.
One of the few reliably swimmable beaches on the corridor, with good snorkelling. A short drive east.
