The program benefits are the same at every hotel. What changes is what they are worth. This is how each one works at this property.
Daily breakfast for two per bedroom at MAISON MARUNOUCHI, the seventh-floor bistro, or from the in-room dining menu. Breakfast at MAISON MARUNOUCHI is for in-house guests only, from 7:00 to 11:00 am, with the buffet until 10:00 am and à la carte dishes until 11:00 am. Ask for a window table: the bistro looks over Tokyo Station and the Shinkansen tracks. In the room, the menu runs to American, Japanese, Chinese and continental breakfasts.
A USD 100 credit per stay, or USD 200 in suites, for the hotel's restaurants, The Bar and Champagne Lounge and The Spa. A weekday seasonal afternoon tea at MAISON MARUNOUCHI costs about $50 a person before the service charge, so the credit covers most of one for two. It also goes towards SÉZANNE, though a dinner there costs well beyond it.
A one-category upgrade when available at check-in. With 57 rooms the hotel has little spare inventory, so upgrades depend on occupancy. The entry rooms are the Eki Room, which faces Tokyo Station, and the Marunouchi Room, both 44 sq m (474 sq ft). The next step is the 52 sq m (560 sq ft) Ginza Room, which faces Tokyo International Forum instead of the station, so tell us whether the train view or the extra space matters more and we pass that to the hotel.
Priority for both, subject to availability. Check-in at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi is at 3:00 pm and checkout at noon. A small hotel has fewer rooms to turn over early, so for a morning arrival from an overnight flight the only guarantee is to book the night before. Otherwise the hotel keeps your bags and opens the fitness centre for a shower.
A welcome amenity and a VIP note on the reservation. Since the 2026 reopening, every guest is greeted with a glass of Champagne in the lobby and taken straight to the room for a private check-in. We send ahead the details that make this useful: your train times, a celebration, a SÉZANNE booking and a preference for a station-view room.
Preferred Partner benefits sit on top of the hotel's own offers. In autumn 2026 these include Stay Longer, with a complimentary third night, Experience More, with a spending credit, and Marunouchi Escape, with 10 percent off the room rate and overnight parking. We price each against the standard rate for your dates.
Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi has 57 rooms and suites, 48 rooms and 9 suites, on floors 3 to 6 of Pacific Century Place, a 31-storey tower beside Tokyo Station. André Fu redesigned every room in a renovation that ran from July 2025 to the reopening on 29 April 2026, with warm woods, sliding panels and 65-inch televisions. The rooms sit low compared with most Tokyo luxury hotels, so the views are of the station, the trains and the streets, not a distant skyline.
Eki means station, and the Eki Room looks straight at the red-brick Tokyo Station building and the tracks, where local trains and Shinkansen run in and out all day. It is 44 sq m (474 sq ft) with a king bed, a bathtub and a separate shower, and some connect to the Marunouchi Suite or the Tokyo Manor Suite. Time Out Tokyo stayed in one after the reopening and singled out the view.
The Marunouchi Room is also 44 sq m (474 sq ft), with a king bed and a view over Sotobori Street and the Marunouchi district. The Ginza Room is larger at 52 sq m (560 sq ft), faces Tokyo International Forum and comes with a king or two queen beds. Two Ginza Rooms connect, which suits friends travelling together.
Both are 65 sq m (700 sq ft), with a separate sitting area and a view of Tokyo International Forum. The Four Seasons Room has a king bed. The Corner Ginza Room has two queen beds and windows on two sides. The two connect, which makes them the strongest pairing in the hotel for a family of four or five.
The Marunouchi Suite is 72 sq m (775 sq ft) and the One-Bedroom Suite 88 sq m (947 sq ft), each with a separate living room, a king bedroom and a guest powder room, and each looks over Tokyo Station. The One-Bedroom Suite has a dining table for four and a corner bathroom with floor-to-ceiling windows, so the bath faces the station.
Named after the restaurant, the SÉZANNE Suite is 102 sq m (1,098 sq ft) on the fifth or sixth floor, with a king bedroom, a separate dining area and a lounge. It looks over Sotobori Street and Marunouchi, and selected suites connect to a Marunouchi Room.
The Tokyo Manor Suite is the largest in the hotel, at 160 sq m (1,722 sq ft) on the sixth floor, with a dining table for eight, a pantry with a refrigerator and an induction hob, and views over Tokyo Station. It connects to an Eki Room and is booked by phone with the hotel, which we handle.
Every room has a tub and a separate shower, and most take one sofa bed or cot. The two-queen Ginza Room is the exception: it takes a cot but no sofa bed, so it sleeps two adults or one adult and one child. Children under 18 stay free when they share their parents' beds, and a third adult pays an extra-bed charge. Connecting rooms are available on the Eki, Marunouchi, Ginza, Corner Ginza and Four Seasons Rooms and on the Marunouchi, SÉZANNE and Tokyo Manor Suites. Pets are not allowed, and the whole building is non-smoking.
The two Four Seasons hotels in central Tokyo are about a kilometre apart and very different. Marunouchi is the small one: 57 rooms on the lower floors of an office tower, a four-minute walk from the Shinkansen, with no pool and two spa treatment rooms. Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi has 190 rooms at the top of a 39-storey tower over the Imperial Palace, with a 20-metre pool and est. Marunouchi is the better base for a trip that moves on by bullet train to Kyoto or Osaka. Otemachi is better for a longer city stay with a pool and big views.
Only some categories face Tokyo Station: the Eki Room, the Marunouchi Suite, the One-Bedroom Suite and the Tokyo Manor Suite. The Ginza, Corner Ginza and Four Seasons Rooms look towards Tokyo International Forum, and the Marunouchi Room and SÉZANNE Suite over Sotobori Street. Children who like trains are well served by an Eki Room connected to a suite. If the room faces elsewhere, MAISON MARUNOUCHI and The Bar and Champagne Lounge on the seventh floor both look over the Shinkansen.
Daniel Calvert, who opened SÉZANNE in 2021, left at the end of March 2026, and Stephen Lancaster, formerly of Poise in Singapore, has run the kitchen since 1 April 2026. Dinner is served Wednesday to Sunday and lunch only on Friday and Saturday. Diners must be over 13, the kitchen does not take dietary requests, and men need a jacket or a long-sleeved collared shirt. Calvert's own restaurant, Chez Calvert, was due to open at Azabudai Hills on 1 October 2026, if you want to follow him.
The rate shown is before charges. The hotel adds a 15 percent service charge, and Japan's 10 percent consumption tax applies to the rate and the service charge, so the total is about 26 percent above the room rate. Tokyo's accommodation tax is a flat ¥200 per person per night at this price level, about $1.50, until 31 March 2027. From 1 April 2027 it becomes 3 percent of the accommodation fee per person per night, and stays from that date pay the new tax, including stays booked earlier. Our quotes show the full total.
The hotel's staff will meet you on your arrival platform at Tokyo Station and walk you to the hotel, and they offer the same at departure. This is free on request and worth taking: Tokyo Station is vast and crowded, and the walk from the Shinkansen platforms to the Yaesu South Exit is easy to get wrong with luggage. Give us your train number and car and we pass them on.
The Spa stops treatments from 5 January to 5 February 2027, though the gym and ofuro stay open. The ofuro, sauna and jet showers are booked in 60-minute sessions, by phone or the hotel's chat app after check-in, so reserve on arrival if you want an evening slot.
At MAISON MARUNOUCHI children aged 4 and under eat free and children aged 5 to 12 get 50 percent off breakfast, and children aged 3 to 12 get their own robes, pyjamas, bath amenities and board games. The hotel describes the dining offer as being for direct bookings, so we ask the hotel to confirm it on the reservation.
The restaurants and bar are on the seventh floor, above the guest rooms. SÉZANNE is the reason many people know the hotel; MAISON MARUNOUCHI is where guests eat day to day. In-room dining runs 24 hours from the MAISON MARUNOUCHI kitchen.
SÉZANNE opened in July 2021 under Daniel Calvert and became one of Asia's most decorated restaurants, with three stars in the MICHELIN Guide Tokyo 2025 and again in the 2026 edition, announced in September 2025. It was ranked best restaurant in Japan by Asia's 50 Best Restaurants from 2023 to 2025 and number 7 in The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2025. Since Stephen Lancaster took over in April 2026, it has placed number 16 in Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2026, and the MICHELIN Guide has removed its stars until it is inspected under the new chef. The next Tokyo selection is due on 16 February 2027. The André Fu dining room seats 38, with a 20-seat salon and a six-seat chef's table by the kitchen.
MAISON MARUNOUCHI is a Parisian-style bistro with 43 seats and a nine-seat bar, looking over Tokyo Station and the Shinkansen. Breakfast runs from 7:00 to 11:00 am for hotel guests, lunch from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm and dinner from 5:00 to 11:00 pm. The Menu de Luxe is four courses built around dry-aged Japanese Wagyu, from about $130 a person. Seasonal afternoon tea by Executive Pastry Chef Nicolas Maugard is served from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm, at about $50 on weekdays and $60 at weekends.
The bar pours Champagne by the glass, chosen by the hotel's sommelier, and cocktails such as one of Hachio gin, sakura liqueur, Japanese pear liqueur and hinoki bitters, with caviar and light dishes. It is open daily from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm. A Veuve Clicquot free-flow, at about $65 a person, comes with a window seat over Tokyo Station and the bullet trains. Afternoon tea is also served in the Champagne Lounge, a quieter alternative to the bistro.
Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi has no swimming pool. Its wellness facilities are a small spa, Japanese wet areas and a large gym, which suits a hotel used mainly as a city and rail base.
The Spa, designed by Yabu Pushelberg, has two treatment rooms for massages, facials and head and scalp treatments. The signature treatment is the 90-minute Tokyo Ritual. Treatments run from 11:00 am, with the last appointment at 7:00 pm.
The men's and women's changing areas each have a hot-spring-inspired mineral bath, a steam sauna and jet showers. They are open from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm on weekdays and from 8:00 am at weekends, in 60-minute booked sessions.
The gym is open 24 hours, with floor-to-ceiling windows over central Tokyo. It is also where early arrivals can shower before their room is ready.
Housekeeping comes twice a day, with evening turndown. The hotel offers overnight shoeshine, same-day laundry and a multilingual concierge who books tours, sumo outings, ramen workshops and bar crawls through Ginza and Shinjuku. Wi-Fi is free.
The hotel holds one MICHELIN Key in the MICHELIN Guide hotel selection 2026. SÉZANNE was ranked number 16 in Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2026.
Tokyo works in every season, and a hotel by the Shinkansen makes it easy to add Kyoto or Osaka in any month. Weather, holidays and rates decide the timing.
Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi is in Pacific Century Place, a four-minute walk from the Yaesu South Exit of Tokyo Station. Show taxi drivers the Japanese address: 東京都千代田区丸の内1-11-1 パシフィックセンチュリープレイス丸の内.
The hotel sits between Tokyo Station and Ginza, in the business district east of the Imperial Palace. Most of central Tokyo is a short walk or one train ride away.
The red-brick Marunouchi building, opened in 1914 and restored in 2012, is the view from the Eki Rooms. Below and around the station are food halls and shopping arcades where you can buy an ekiben, a boxed lunch for the train.
Ginza's department stores, flagship boutiques and restaurants are within walking distance to the south-east. Tokyo International Forum, the glass convention and arts centre the Ginza Rooms look over, is on the way.
The palace grounds lie west of Tokyo Station across Marunouchi. The East Gardens are open to the public, and the path around the outer moat is Tokyo's favourite running loop.
North of the station, Nihonbashi is the old merchant quarter, with the Mitsukoshi department store and long-established food and knife shops.
From the hotel's doorstep the Shinkansen reaches Kyoto in just over two hours, and the Four Seasons Japan Collection hotels in Kyoto and Osaka are at the other end.
The best way to book Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi is through a Four Seasons Preferred Partner travel advisor. The advisor books the official Four Seasons rate, with no booking fees, and the reservation adds daily breakfast for two, a $100 hotel credit and upgrade priority.

The benefits combine with the hotel's own offers, such as Stay Longer.

A Four Seasons Preferred Partner advisor and Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts (FHR) both add breakfast for two, a $100 credit and upgrade priority at Four Seasons Tokyo at Marunouchi. FHR also guarantees 4:00 pm checkout, but needs an Amex Platinum or Centurion card and a booking through Amex Travel. Preferred Partner needs no card, doubles the credit to $200 in suites and adds VIP recognition. Booking direct at fourseasons.com costs the same and adds none of these, because Four Seasons has no points programme. One booking can carry only one of the two benefit packages.
